Our client schedules hundreds of contract staff, each with their own availability, time off and preferences.
Some prefer particular assignments. Others have locations or types of work they'd rather avoid. Everyone has their own view of how many days they'd like to work each year and how much time they'd like between assignments.
With that information spread across spreadsheets, emails and individual conversations, collecting it, keeping it up to date and using it to plan a busy working year was an enormous administrative task.
The solution
productivity kick designed and built a custom Zite portal that puts contract staff in control of their own information.
Staff self-service
Each person logs in to record their availability, preferred assignments and how much they'd like to work. They update their preferences and submit time-off requirements themselves, without needing someone in the office to make the changes for them.
Meanwhile, the management team has a clear picture of everyone's availability and assignments.
